Elf Costumes

How to choose an elf costume

Elf costumes are a Christmas favorite for holiday parties, Santa's helpers, school plays and family photos. Decide who is wearing it, then check the product page for size and the list of included pieces. Prices start from $26, and most of the costumes come from Halco and Fun World.

Pick a style

• Santa's helper: velvet, satin and felt elf tunics and 2-piece suits for a classic workshop look.
• Buddy the Elf: adult Buddy the Elf costumes and a Buddy The Elf Wig for fans of the movie.
• Women's styles: the Jovie Elf costume, a women's elf poncho and elf tights.
• Funny styles: the Carry Me Elf Costume looks like an elf is giving you a ride, and an elf hoodie works for casual parties and ugly sweater nights.

Elf costumes for the whole family

There are kids elf costumes in child sizes, boys elf costumes, toddler elf suits and a Santa's Lil Elf outfit for babies 6 to 12 months. An elf pet costume lets the dog join in. Pair the family with a Santa from Santa suits, or see group and family costumes for more matching ideas.

Add the accessories

Many elf costumes are a tunic or suit only. If the description does not list a hat, shoes or ears, add them here. The collection includes felt elf hats, a hat with ears, an elf hat on a headband, elf shoes, latex elf ears and a latex elf nose. There is also an elf apron and hat set for adults and kids, made for holiday baking. For more hats, see costume hats.

Get the size right

Adult elf costumes come in sizes from Small to 2X, plus one size styles. Kids sizes include Child 4 to 8 and Child Large 12 to 14, and baby and toddler sizes run by months. Pet costumes come in sizes from X-Small to Large. Match your measurements to the size chart on the product page. If you plan to wear layers underneath, the larger size is usually the safer choice.
