How to choose a pirate costume

Start with the character you want to play, then check the size chart and the list of included pieces on the product page. Accessories outnumber full costumes in this collection, so you can build a pirate look from scratch or finish one you already own. Prices start at $21.

Pick your pirate

Captain looks include a men's pirate captain costume, a brown pirate coat set and a black and red pirate set. Women's styles include Captain Marauder, a swashbuckler buccaneer, Seven Seas Pirate and Pirate Maiden. Fans of the films can add Jack Sparrow's sword and scabbard from Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. A captain look leans on a coat and a hat, while a deckhand look works with a loose blouse, a sash and a sword.

Pirates for kids, toddlers and babies

Kids styles include Rogue Pirate, Punky Pirate and a boy's brown pirate captain. Toddlers can wear Pirate Tink, Precious Lil Pirate or High Seas Pirate, and there is a pirate princess for babies 12 to 18 months. Toddler sizes here are 2T and 3T to 4T, and kids sizes include child small, so check the size chart on each product page before you order.

Accessories that finish the look

The accessories include a pirate hook, a pirate sword, a see-through eye patch, a plus size laced-front pirate blouse, wigs and facial hair, and costume shoes in men's and women's sizes. If a costume does not list a hat or weapon, add one from costume hats and costume weapons.

Sizes and group ideas

Adult costumes are listed from small to 2X, with a 1X/2X option for plus sizes. Shoes are listed by men's and women's shoe size, and at least one hat by head size.
