Fairy & Mermaid Costumes

How to choose a fairy costume or mermaid costume

This collection covers three related looks: fairies, mermaids and fairy tale characters. Pick the look first, then check the size chart and the included pieces on the product page. Adult women's styles make up the largest group, with a good number of girls, toddler and baby options too. Some men's styles are here as well, so couples and families can dress from the same story. Prices start from $24.

Fairy costumes

Fairy styles come in color themes like turquoise, lilac and rainbow, along with a women's enchanted pixie costume and a funny tooth fairy costume in plus sizes. Wings are not always included, so read the product page. If you need a pair, browse capes and wings. A few wigs in this collection can finish a fairy look as well.

Mermaid costumes and The Little Mermaid

Mermaid options include a women's adult mermaid costume, a mysterious mermaid for tween girls, and a little mermaid costume for kids. Fans of Disney's The Little Mermaid will find Ariel in classic and deluxe women's versions, a women's Ursula, a deluxe adult Prince Eric for men, and baby Ariel and Ursula costumes in 12 to 18 months. These pair well for couples and families. See more in Disney costumes.

Fairy tale characters

The collection also includes classic storybook characters: Belle, Snow White, Red Riding Hood, the Queen of Hearts in plus sizes, a frog prince for adults and a fairytale prince for men. These characters work well for groups, since one story can give every person a different role. For more crowns and gowns, browse princess costumes.

Get the size right

Adult sizes in this collection run from XS to 3X on select styles, with tween, child, toddler and baby sizes as well. Sizing differs by brand and by style, so always use the chart on the product page rather than your usual clothing size. If you are between sizes, the larger size is usually the safer choice.
