Tights, Stockings & Tutus

How to choose costume tights and stockings

Tights tie a costume together and fill the gap between the hem and the shoes. Pick the style that fits your character, then check the color, length and size options on the product page. Leg Avenue makes about two thirds of this collection, and most styles cost under $45.

Pick a style

Fishnets come as thigh highs, pantyhose, seamed and footless styles, industrial and fence net, and lace top styles. Striped stockings, striped thigh highs and striped tights come in many color pairs, such as black and white, black and orange, black and purple, black and neon green, and white and red. Sheer options include thigh highs with satin bows, stockings with rhinestones and pantyhose with garters. For Halloween patterns, there are spider web tights and pantyhose, footless bone tights in white, glitter gray and multicolor, and spinal column tights.

Match tights to the costume

Striped stockings are a classic with witch costumes, and neon leg warmers, lace leggings and footless lace tights suit 80s costumes. Women's elf tights go with elf costumes, rainbow clown socks with clowns, and rag doll socks with rag doll looks. Character options include Harley Quinn and Wonder Woman thigh highs, Ravenclaw socks and Bob Ross leggings, plus fun prints like kitty cat tights, ladybug stockings and polka dot tights.

Tights for kids

Child tights come in colors like green, neon pink and white in Small to X-Large. Kids striped tights, fishnet tights in child sizes, stitched white pantyhose and crossed bones pantyhose are here too. The girls rainbow tutu skirt is the one tutu in this collection, and it pairs well with colored tights for fairy and rainbow looks.

Sizes and fit

Most adult styles are listed as one size or without size options, and several, including fishnet tights, lace top fishnets, striped tights and bow thigh highs, also come in a plus size. A few leggings are listed in S/M and L/XL, and the neon lace leggings run from X-Small to X-Large. Check the size chart on each product page, and call 800-618-6053 if you are unsure.
