How to choose a Ghostbusters costume

Decide whether you want the original 80s look or the newer Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire styles, then pick the version that fits the wearer. Check each product page for the size chart and the list of included pieces, since props are often sold on their own.

Most items are from Disguise, with more from Trick or Treat Studios and Rubie's. Many listings are sold by size, so the same costume may appear more than once in different sizes.

Classic 80s Ghostbusters

The 80s costumes come in an adult deluxe version, women's and female styles, and an infant version for babies 12 to 18 months. They are a good fit for fans of the original films. The ghost trap prop is sold on its own, so add it to your cart separately if you want it. It finishes the look. Pick up a Slimer enamel pin for a small extra detail.

Frozen Empire suits

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire costumes include flight suits, engineer suits and winter parkas. Several come in classic and deluxe versions for kids and adults, and there are posh flight suits for toddlers and babies. Compare the classic and deluxe product pages to see how the pieces differ. The winter parka is a less common choice that stands out next to a crew in flight suits.

Slimer and other ghosts

If you would rather be the ghost, Slimer comes as a posh costume for toddlers and babies and as an adult Frozen Empire Slimer costume. A baby or toddler in a Slimer costume is an easy way to add the littlest member to a family of Ghostbusters.

Sizes and group looks

Kids sizes run from small (4 to 6) to large (10 to 12), toddler sizes include 2T and 3T to 4T, and adult sizes go from XS/small up to men's 2X. Women's sizes include Women S (4 to 6) and Women M (8 to 10). A crew of Ghostbusters, with a baby or toddler as Slimer, is an easy family or group costume.
