Skeleton Costumes

How to choose a skeleton costume

A skeleton costume can be cute, glam, funny or scary, and this collection has all four. Pick the mood first, then decide whether you want a full costume or a mask and accessories over your own black clothes.

Pick a skeleton style

Classic bone looks include kids skeleton jumpsuits, a boys skeleton shirt, a girls skeleton bones costume and a men's skeleton skin suit. For a glam look, women and girls can choose holographic, rainbow foil, golden two-piece and pink punk skeleton costumes, or a skeletal hoodie. Funny options include a toddler skeleton piggyback costume and an inflatable skeleton T-rex for kids. Gamers will find a Minecraft skeleton and the Fortnite Skull Trooper.

Day of the Dead looks

For Dia de los Muertos, there are Day of the Dead costumes for women and men, a men's skull mariachi costume, a skeleton serape, Catrina and sugar skull masks, Day of the Dead gloves, makeup kits for men and women, and face and body tattoos. A skull necklace and bracelet set and skull tassel earrings add the final detail.

Finish with masks, hands and makeup

Skull masks are a big part of this range, from vinyl skull masks by Trick or Treat Studios to latex masks from Ghoulish and a hooded skull mask with long-fingered gloves. Add skeleton gloves, kids skeleton hands or adult skeleton feet, and try a glow-in-the-dark skull jewels kit or a color drip melting skull kit. For more face paint, see Halloween makeup, and for scarier faces browse scary masks.

Sizes and fit

Kids costumes run from Child Small 4 to 6 up to Large 12 to 14, and toddler styles include 24 months to 2T and 3T to 4T. Women's costumes come in sizes like X-Small to Large, S/M and M/L, and several men's styles come in one size fits most and 2X. Masks are listed without size options. Check the size chart on the product page, and call 800-618-6053 if you are between sizes.

Decorating too? Skeleton props and skulls are in skeletons and skulls, and the hooded look pairs well with grim reaper costumes.
