Video Game Costumes

How to choose video game costumes

Pick the game and the character, then decide between a full costume and an accessory kit. This collection mixes both, along with a few masks, so the product type matters as much as the character you choose.

Full costumes or accessory kits

Full costumes come in Classic and Deluxe versions for many characters. Accessory kits, like the Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Toad, Bowser, Yoshi and Link kits, give you the signature pieces to wear with your own clothes. Some are small, like the kids Luigi hat and mustache set. Kits are a good choice if you already own the basics or need a costume in a hurry. Read the product page to see exactly what each kit or costume contains.

Characters by game

Super Mario Bros. has the biggest range here: Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Yoshi, Toad, Bowser and Wario, plus a boy's Mario Riding Yoshi costume and an inflatable Mario Kart costume. You will also find Link from The Legend of Zelda, Sonic, Minecraft styles including the Creeper, Pokemon styles such as Eevee, the Fortnite Black Knight and an Among Us crewmate. Brands include Disguise, Fun World, OppoSuits, Trick or Treat Studios and Studio Halloween.

Sizes for kids and adults

The collection is close to an even split between kids and adult styles, with a few toddler options. Kids sizes run from Child S (4 to 6) to Child XL (14 to 16), and toddler sizes include 2T and 3 to 4T. Men's sizes are listed by chest, such as M (38 to 40), and women's sizes by dress size, such as S (4 to 6). Some items are One Size. Check the size chart on each product page, and if you are between sizes, choose the larger one. For help, call 800-618-6053.

Group and family ideas

Video game characters are easy to match as a group because each one has a clear look. A family can split the Mario cast between kids and adults, with one person as Bowser. See group and family costumes and couples costumes for more ideas. Add finishing touches from costume hats and Halloween wigs, such as a hat for Mario or hair for Princess Peach.
