Christmas Character Costumes

How to choose Christmas costumes

Start with the event. An office party, a school play, a parade and a family photo all call for different levels of effort. This collection covers quick add-ons like antlers as well as full character costumes.

Pick a character

Elves have the most options: Buddy the Elf for adults, a women's Jovie elf costume, satin jingle, velvet and classic elf tunics from Halco, a funny carry me elf piggyback costume, and an elf apron and hat set. Reindeer fans can choose a hooded adult reindeer costume in Medium to XL, a women's reindeer poncho, reindeer antlers or green antlers with bells. Snowmen include a women's snowman poncho, an adult snowman head with hat, an adult Olaf deluxe costume, and toddler, baby and dog snowman costumes. You will also find Christmas tree costumes, a Christmas trees jacket and tie, a green tree suit for women, and candy cane suits and blazers. More elf styles are in elf costumes.

Office parties and holiday events

For a laugh, try the Santa ride a reindeer costume, the carry me elf, or a Christmas tree costume from Rasta Imposta. For something you can wear all evening, a poncho, an elf tunic or the OppoSuits jacket and tie are easy choices. Antlers and the elf apron and hat set are the quickest options of all. For the Grinch, see Grinch costumes and decorations.

School plays and pageants

For a Nutcracker production, there is a Nutcracker head mask and an adult Mouse King headpiece with crown. Snowman and reindeer costumes suit holiday concerts and class parties, and toddler and baby snowman costumes work for younger kids and first Christmas photos. For church pageants, see nativity and Christmas pageant costumes.

Sizes and fit

Adult costumes are listed in sizes like Medium, Large and X-Large, men's XL 42 to 46 and 2X 50 to 52 for Olaf, and many tunics and ponchos are listed without size options. Toddler and baby styles run from 6 to 12 months up to 2 to 4T, and the snowman dog costume comes in Pet Medium and Large. Check the size chart on each product page, and call 800-618-6053 if you need help. Santa himself has his own collection in Santa suits.
